Description: Little Flower Convent School, Sangrur Report on the Special Morning Assembly Date: 2nd July 2025 Time: 8:15 am to 9:45 am Venue: School Assembly Ground The first day after the summer vacation at Little Flower Convent School, Sangrur, commenced with a special morning assembly conducted with great enthusiasm and reverence. The assembly was thoughtfully divided into four parts, each reflecting the spirit of welcome, gratitude, celebration, and farewell. Part 1: Welcome of Students The program began with a warm welcome extended to all students. The theme of the assembly was “Shine Like Stars”, beautifully presented by Sister Jomol. The Head Boy, Anmoldeep Singh, and Head Girl, Eknoor ,formally introduced the assembly and set the tone for the day. A solemn lamp lighting ceremony followed, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness through knowledge and wisdom. The ceremony was introduced by kushpreet and Kamal Jot. Lighting the lamp was done by Manager Father Lawrence, Principal Sister Mary Lavania, School Coordinator Ms. Neetu Jaidka, Staff Representative Ms. Neha, and Head Boy Anmoldeep . This part also included intercessory prayers led by the teachers, invoking blessings for a fruitful academic year. Furthermore, the segment featured an inspiring presentation of sacred verses from different religions—the Mool Mantra from Sikhism, a Shloka from Hinduism, and a Bible reading, promoting the values of unity and spiritual growth. A warm welcome address was delivered by Manager Father Lawrence, followed by a motivational message from Principal Sister Mary Lavanya, encouraging students to strive for excellence. A delightful Western dance performance by the girls added vibrance to the celebration.
